USE OF FRACTIONAL LASER MICROABLATION OF SKIN FOR IMPROVEMENT OF ITS IMMERSION CLEARING

ABSTRACT

Creation of artificial channels by means of fractional laser microablation helps to overcome the protective skin barrier and promotes deeper and more targeted delivery of immersion agents. We are presenting results of delivery of polyethylene glycol in skin. Fractional microablation of skin was provided by a system on the base of pulsed Er:YAG laser. In vitro and in vivo rat skin was investigated. It is shown that skin microporation allows improvement of tissue immersion clearing.
