MULTIFUNCTIONAL NANOCAPSULES BASED ON THE MODIFIED LIPOSOMES – NEW CONTAINERS FOR TARGETED DRUG DELIVERY

ABSTRACT

We have gained, for the first time, and investigated the new multifunctional nanocapsules – liposomes on the basis of phosphatidylcholine and stearilspermin, modified by the magnetite nanoparticles and polymer molecules. The liposomes integrity and stability, the capsulating possibility of the low molecular weight substance (NaCl), modification by the magnetite nanoparticles and polymer molecules (polystyrene sulfonic acid – PSS or DNA) have been confirmed by the AFM and electron microscopy. We show the possibility of the remote opening of the modified liposomes by an electromagnetic pulse.
