MODELING AND ANALYTICAL TREATMENT OF FTIR SPECTRA OF NUCLEIC ACIDS AND PROTEINS IN 4 PATIENTS WITH MELANOCELLULAR NEVUS

ABSTRACT

The peaks for nucleic acids and proteins were qualitatively and quantitatively analysed in FTIR spectra from melanocellular nevi for further modeling. The multiplet at about 1055 cm-1 appeared in 3 patients. In DNA/RNA triad the 1084 cm-1 peak was prominent in all patients, differing at appearance alone or with one of the other triad peaks. Modeling of data on nucleic acids and proteins showed possibilities to characterize common and specific features of measured melanocellular nevi by FTIR spectroscopy.
