At the present time attracts the attention of many researchers studying electromagnetic terahertz radiation (EMR TGCH). It is in this range (from 100 GHz to 10 THz) are concentrated frequency absorption and emission spectra of cellular metabolites essential (NO, O2, CO2, CO, OH, etc.) examined 50 patients (male and female) with postoperative radiculopathy lumbar localization at the age of from 25 to 67 years. The main complaints of patients had pain that developed after removal of herniated disc or vertebral hemangioma with vertebroplasty is not amenable to cupping in an outpatient setting. Patients were divided into two groups depending on the nature of the therapy.
The first group - 24 people received conventional medications (analgesics, NSAIDs, cardiovascular drugs, and vitamins). The second group - 26 persons were patients in the complex treatment which was included the use of electromagnetic radiation in the millimeter-wave frequencies of the radiation and absorption of nitric oxide.
We used the apparatus EHF - therapy "Orbit" to the electromagnetic field and the frequency spectrum molekulyarnysm 150 ± 0,75 (range absorption of NO). The treatment course consisted of 10 sessions held daily, continuous generation, duration of exposure was 20 min. in the lumbar region.
The extent of regression of pain was carried out by visual analogue scale (VAS).

Determination of serum antibodies to myeloperoxidase (MPO) was performed with the use of sets of test systems for enzyme immunoassay by "Hema-physician" (Russia).
Determination of serum antibodies to collagen were performed with a precipitation reaction.
In this research the following conclusions:
EHF - therapy is noninvasive and affordable way that enhances the effectiveness of the treatment of postoperative radiculopathy.
EHF - therapy on the frequency spectrum of the molecular absorption and emission of nitrous oxide reduces the duration of pain in patients with postoperative radiculopathy lumbar localization.
EHF - therapy in combination with drug treatment of postoperative radiculopathy helps to reduce the content of antibodies to MPO and collagen, thereby suppressing the development of autoimmune aggression.
