NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF THE GENERATION AND PROPAGATION OF ACOUSTIC WAVES IN MULTI-LAYER TISSUE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF PULSE LASER RADIATION

ABSTRACT

The mathematical model (in the continuous and the discrete form) of the process of generation and propagation of acoustic waves in multi-layer tissue, presented epithelium and subcutaneous layers was proposed. The model takes into account the presence of losses in the medium of propagation of acoustic pulses on the basis of experiments on the attenuation of ultrasound in biomaterials. On the basis of the proposed model the influence of the acoustic type of boundary conditions on the surface of the skin (hard/soft border) on the form of the generated acoustic pulse was showed. The influence of attenuation and a layered structure of the integument on the propagation of the acoustic pulse were studied.
